optinė pelė statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis ↑Pelė su optiniu judesio jutikliu. Pelės apačioje įtaisytas šviesos šaltinis ir jo šviesą, atspindėtą nuo paviršiaus, kuriuo juda pelė, priimantis jutiklis. Pelės judesys nustatomas tiksliau, negu mechaninės pelės rutuliuku. Paviršius, kuriuo juda pelė, gali būti nelygus. Todėl jai nereikia kilimėlio – ją galima stumdyti ant bet kokio paviršiaus, pavyzdžiui, pasidėjus ant delno.
